Not Grampa’s Twitter

.

“The newspaper industry is hurting. I should explain that term to my younger viewers. A ‘newspaper’ is like a blog that leaves ink on your hands and covers topics other than how much you love Fall Out Boy.”
—Stephen Colbert, host, “The Colbert Report,” advice to John Sturm of the National Newspaper Assn., March 31, 2009

  2. Someone should explain the term "social media" to Colbert. Oh, I know! It's news beyond what a bunch of old white guys TELL me I should be interested in. Isn't that swell?

  3. Somebody should explain to Mr. Sturm how to handle today's media and how to speak convincingly. What an appalling reiteration of meaningless pap. He--and we, by extension--deserved every derisive snort.
