NOTE: John Lennon died 30 years ago today, but he's still going strong. One Imagine video here.
Imagine
“Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You, you may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You, you may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You, you may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you will join us
And the world will be as one”

More Lennon pix, just because I found them....
Why do the cool people live & die before I even came to the earth?! I get Brittany Spears and Lady Gaga. :P I would prefer Elvis and Lennon!

"Imagine" was preceded on the charts in Canada by "Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves". Irony?
ReplyDeleteI think Lennon was on to something. For the amount of air time the song gets, you would think people might listen to the words just a little bit more.
Aw, this is so great! I love the imagine peace sign. :)
