Tuesday’s election of Barack Obama as the 44th president of the United States was historic on a number of levels, and newspapers worldwide reflected that on their front pages. It isn't just the national elections. We had hotly contested local elections and people were lined up to buy the paper and get the details.
ReplyDeleteWe had a couple who have been subscribers for several decades drive by the office looking for a copy of the Tulsa World. Every box in town was sold out. We're not sentimental, so we gave them our office copy because we were finished and had a copy at home.
This is a great reminder of why there IS a future for the printed world.
